I am this kind of feminist too and also a lawyer, and I would be curious to see the legal arguments. Our state has made gender identity the same as sex in our discrimination laws by legislative action. I don't know how to undo that in the courts.
I live in Delaware County. Is there a group I can join? I'm an old lady who he's been a Democrat since I was seven and a feminist since I was 18 and I have a lot of political experience, But not enough energy anymore to organize on my own. But I would be glad to contact legislators and arrange meetings with staff if I had others to work with.
I'm willing to help craft a persuasive general letter with some community guidance (I'm not a parent, just a horrified once upon a time toothpick-shaped tomboy who struggled mightily with morphing into a curvy vamp-like exterior with all the social sensibilities of the sexually abused small child I still was internally). Kinda funny that I recently declared myself no longer in the business of attempting to convince anyone of anything, now that the worm has turned & We, the People, ain't going back to unconstitutional business as usual! But I'll make an exception for this issue. I have a friend who fully affirms her daughter as a boy, & occasionally I still send her articles on the medical horrors to potentially come, with a note attempting to assure her that it's only our of love. Never hear back, but I can't seem to stop trying from time to time.
