. There is a pernicious & unattributable myth that Native Americans feared photography because it was a "soul catcher." Perhaps the story was an extension of Europen incubi & succubi that aided the great soul thief, the devil.

"Soul thieving" —robbing of individuality— took off in the 19th century with steam press newspapers, grew in force with radio; but TV, especially after a few decades, started the truly effective penetration of children's minds. The theft of childhood, with today's mobile screens, is now being fine-tuned to alter humans into servile drones, especially as "teacher-assistant" AI becomes implemented.

That only 22% of soldiers actually shot at an enemy in WWII, but two decades later in Vietnam 95% of servicemen aimed at other humans should give us pause as we slide down the slippery slope of transhumanism.

The edtech "soul eater" that robs childhood leaves an empty husk that can only wander aimlessly addicted to blue screens. Injection of knowledge, like injection of immunity, —are false metaphors that create fragile beings lacking healthy adaptive responses.

You are assuming anyone involved in education actually thinks porn is a problem. Many of them definitely do not. Or they are starting to suspect that perhaps it has some drawbacks.
