Make your voice heard in 2024!
Visit your statehouse & advocate for legislation that matters to you
Join us on Tuesday, January 23rd!
We are going to Albany, New York together with several other grassroots organizations to meet our state representatives and educate them about the legislation that matters most to us.
If you live outside New York State, we encourage you to organize a trip for your state - even if it’s just you and your family or a friend. We’ll provide you with educational materials needed to make it successful.
RSVP by choosing the “Organize an event in my state” option and we will be in touch.
Over the past three years, we have been reminded how much the actions our representatives take at the state house impact our everyday lives.
From the legal age of consent for medical procedures to what our children learn in schools, a wide range of issues that impact the well-being of our children are up for debate.
We must know our lawmakers and their staff, as well as what legislation is up for discussion, so that we can educate our representatives on how to vote.
The special interests will be at the capital lobbying our representatives, and we need to make sure we are countering their efforts.
Here is a highlight reel from a trip the Restore Childhood team took to Washington D.C. last spring to meet with our federal representatives.
We’re going to be doing something very similar, only this time at the New York State House, alongside other grassroots organizations.
There will be buses to help get everyone there and a zoom session to help you prepare for the trip.
Please RSVP for more information and so we can get a headcount for planning logistics.
