Eithan Haim: Texas Whistleblower for Children, Speaks Out in Washington
It's not every day you meet an American hero

Yesterday, at the
Detrans Awareness Day on Capitol Hill, I saw so many inspiring individuals—from young people who had transitioned and bravely found their way back, warning parents and children about the dangers of irreversible medical procedures that damage both body and mind, to tireless advocates like my friends Tiffany Justice and January Littlejohn, who have spent years awakening and educating parents to protect kids from gender ideology.A highlight of the day was meeting Dr. Eithan Haim, a Texas Children's Hospital whistleblower and surgeon who refused to stay silent as the hospital continued to perform gender surgeries on children, even after Texas banned the practice.
Eithan put himself and his young family at immense risk—facing potential jail time and staggering financial debt—to expose the truth. In response, the Biden administration weaponized the DOJ against him, prosecuting him with the threat of a decade in prison if convicted.
Yet he never backed down. His unwavering courage and dedication have saved countless children across the country and, I hope, will inspire others to stand up against harm to the innocent. You can read more about his story in this Free Press article:
Here are Eithan Haim’s remarks from the afternoon press conference—I believe everyone should hear from this American hero.
READ Dr. Eithan Haim’s remarks:
“I was a surgical resident, at Baylor College of Medicine, which is affiliated with the Texas Children's Hospital, and I was working there at the time that they were lying about shutting down their transgender program. They told the public one thing: that we're shutting down this program because of the legal ramifications. But what did they do? They just continued behind closed doors, right? They were inserting these puberty blockers into these children—11, 12 years old.
They were going to permanently alter the chemical composition of their bodies, prevent them from becoming the adult they were meant to be. They were starting them down this road—the kind of chronic medical patients—and at some point down that road, they're going to look in the mirror and think to themselves, "People who were supposed to take care of me were the ones who had fed me to the wolves."
When I was in that situation as a surgical resident, I knew this was happening.
I knew they were lying.
I knew this was a big storm. What would I do? would I stay silent like everyone else or blow the whistle and stories like Chloe Cole’s that gave me the meaning to put everything online, to do what I did to blow the whistle. And the day after our story came out, SB 14 was passed. It was made illegal in the state of Texas. I believe this has always been illegal, but that just reaffirmed it.
Other whistleblowers came out, and the AG announced an investigation into the hospital. About 10 days later, the CEO said he was going to shut down the program for good. So, of course, it was under the Biden regime.
So, a month later, two armed federal agents showed up at my door a few hours before the ceremony of my graduation—one of the most important days of my life. And after that, for a year and a half following that, I faced down 12 felonies and three indictments, up to 10 years in prison for a crime that they could not define, just for criticizing the government, for pointing out what they were doing.
They tried to gag me, and when I spoke out in defiance of that, the judge issued a de facto gag order. The fact that the day before my case was dismissed, the judge was trying to send me to jail—I had to sign an agreement that I never would have signed in order to make this judge happy. Luckily, the case was dismissed as Trump got elected.
How was all this able to happen in the hospital?
Because the residency education program indoctrinates.
You know, I have one of the things I released in the original story, and they have a whole series of grand round lectures—all this is funded by ACGME. And when you look at it, there’s really like 10, 15—these are the most radical lectures you could ever imagine about every possible left-wing idea that exists. And these are lectures meant for pediatricians at the world’s biggest children’s hospital. There was one lecture that started with a land acknowledgment right in Texas. So, when you go after the funding—the ideological superstructure that embeds itself in the minds of pediatricians, the doctors, the surgeons in our country—is going to be taken out.
So, that’s what we have to do: pass this bill so that these people can no longer ideologically sterilize and terrorize everyone in these programs. We have to bring truth and medicine back to what it’s really meant for. So, this bill is good for us. So, our thing, Representative Crenshaw, I think everyone being here—all the detransitioners and Chloe Cole and everyone else—is great. Thank you.”
Dr. Ethan Haim is a courageous hero - and so his his family for supporting him and enduring with him the attempts by the Feds at retribution for his courage and selflessness. I am very grateful that his actions put an end to the needless mutilation of innocent young children at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Great to hear!
